Fashioned after the era-timely messages of The Who's Tommy (which arose from the backdrop of turbulence and confusion spawned by the 1960's), and Pink Floyd's The Wall (which arose from the corresponding issues facing the 1970's), The Ladder is a similar look at life in the 90's and the New Millennium.
The world is changing and all too many of us are still shaking the hangover of the e-commerce, technology wreckage on our economy while trying to make sense of the new world order stemming from the recent terrorism on our nation. The upshot of these times is that people are beginning to re-assess their lives and reprioritize what's truly important as we head further into uncertain territory - individually and collectively.
